We are back home from out Central Oregon trip to the Prineville Pow Wow, the Madras Pow wow, Elkin's Rock Shop, and collecting. First up is what I found in an old coffee can at Elkin's Rock Shop. Then the rough from Elkin's. Lastly the rough we collected. Woody What was in the can. WOW, what a haul!! That'll keep you busy for a looong time. That Dufer picture rock is TOPNOTCH!! Never heard of that before.

Holly molly what a haul and what a surprise. I have been finding some agate that looks really similar to the polka dot and blue ice. Really ugly on the outside but awesome on the inside. I just finished cutting some small slabs of it with the trim saw. I am going to have to take some photos and compare mine to yours. Jim

Woody - Does your picture rock seem pretty stable? I live about 20 minutes from there and the stuff I collected years ago seemed to be very soft where the yellow coloring is between the pattern. Too bad I didn't know you were coming through, you could have stopped in The Dalles and say hi again.
