yes. these are solid, one or two of the smaller pieces I had were a little pitty.
I like the dendrites inside some of the butterscotch, and I also like the slightly blury pastel rings in the slabs with larger pattern.
bothe of these pieces were form orchids9. I rotate around on ebay sellers, but have been doing a bit of buying from Paul/orchids9 lately

Tony W: the one piece he has today, I would not buy. Too much white/bland area. The only other seller currently offering is miss-melissa, and here slabs also would not tempt me. There is one chunk that might have 2-3 OK slabs on it, but hard to tell. A while back thespheremaker.com was trying to get $80 for a nice 5lb piece, yet Richardson's Rock Ranch lists it at $2/lb. I thnk the material varies a lot both inthe matrix (clearish to red) and the embedded stones (plain to dendritic, to multiple halos). If there was somethign else you wanted to order form Richardson's, I might take a chance on asking for 10lbs if you had the $30 to spare. You could also contact Paul/orchids9 and ask about getting some more listed. I gather there is a huge rockpile and it can be hit or miss what is being listed currently. ------- When I get around to it, I will send you a small piece of each of the two patterns I show in the photo. LOL, but there is a good chance you would cab it before I do since I can't seem to stop cutting to work on anything else.

Thanks for the comprehensive rely Daniel. I want to cab a piece for my own collection since I've never cabbed it before. I've been cabbing and slabbing a fair amount, I've just gotten lazy with posting pictures. I have to remedy that soon.
