I cut this from a beautiful chunk of Tiffany stone that my good friend Jo (naturenut) sent. This stone is awesome!! It's really hard like an agate, much nicer than the Tiffany stone that I have in the rock pile. Also, this is the very first cabochon that my mom watched me grind. Her husband was standing behind me as well, always an educational experience for anyone who has never seen a cab cut before. Anyhow, check it out!

Tela- she hasn't cabbed yet, maybe tomorrow I'll ask her if she wants to give it a try. I'll give her something easy like goldstone or obsidian. Thanks y'all!

I really like the black and gold with the stone too. Really striking. I bought that stone from a guy who lives right down the street from where Tiffany Stone is mined. He said it was the B grade so it doesn't have the severe contrast of the dark purples and whites and other colors, but it's pretty darned cool looking. I was surprised at how hard it was too. So cool, I'm glad they got to watch you do your magic! Jo

Randy, where are you getting your colored wire? I am really liking it and how easy is it to work with. I have used 22 guage, square, soft, sterling silver. Sheri

Sheri, this wire is really easy to work, you just gotta be careful with the tools because it'll scratch. Small scratches are easily fixed with a black Sharpie marker. ....... www.parawire.com/metallic.shtml Go to the black wire and scroll down, it's 21 gauge. The square and half-round are one above the other on the list.
