Incredible photo. Getting the light line across the lake without the sun winking over the mountain. There had to be a very short window of time there before the sun rose and having the boats in perfect position was the icing on the cake. I have not had one of those mornings for a long time but remember them well. Jim

Yes, early morning on water is very soothing. At this elevation, it is in the mid-forties this time of day, even on a day that will reach into the 80's. Jim, to get the photo without sun glare I used my hand to shade the lens. I love water diamonds, like how sometimes when the sun first washes across a dewy meadow the water drops sparkle and sometimes a single droplet will flash red or blue. Another shot.

hahaha I thought it rather strange that the photo was so dark with the sun line on the water but there was no sun yet. Plus, there was no halo over the mountains. Either way the water stars are always a beautiful sight. Jim
