I thought I would fool around with it's wrap so see what i could come up with. There are probably a million ways to modify this and that is what I like about it. Plus. it is the easiest wrap that I have tried. So, thanks for starting this wrap for me. I have more ideas but I have a hard time sitting down to do wraps. I kind of view it as a pain in the ass but on some stones it beats the other ways of adding a bail. This was easier than the original and I am thinking that if I would clamp the thing that I am bending the wire around in a vice it would make it easier yet. I'll get back to you on that. lol Jim

that's too funny Jim, Good job, I have one that isn't finished that looks exactly? the same except 1 loop on the bottom and I doubled the form so the loops are longer and go furthur onto the stone. The darn board has stopped accepting pictures from me or I'd show u. One of my suggestions in the tut was to put the manrel in a vise so you could use both hands to do the work :<) I really would like if you dropped a quick pic on the thread of this type Jim if you don't mind. The tut is pinned in the wire wrap section Lloyd

Here is the one I did Jim, It's letting me do pictures again We were just talking about putting the "mandrel" in the vice, not the wrap. Attachments:

here's the back. I used the cross wires there because the stone sits in front of the frame wire it doesn't really need back support. Yours looks nicer though. Attachments:

hahaha That is too much. But I think you are wrong. I should have put my cross wires on the back. The reason I put them on the front is because the first loop on the bottom was too small and I was afraid that the stone would fall out. I start at bottom center and work my way around both sides. I have more waste if I get the wire too long but I do not have much of a plan when I start so I can work both sides the same.
Are people buying copper now days? I started with all copper last year and the sales lady told me that I lost three sales because the stone was wrapped with copper. I changed all of them to silver. Jim

Pretty cool Jim! Now that I've discovered square wires, I think it looks more interesting than round wires for wraps. I just ordered some, you should try it too:)!

lol Helen. I just bought some fancy square wire in Sheridan when I went for a dr app. They have it in the hardware/ BenFranklin store. This fancy square (and round) Beadalon wire looks twisted from slashed dimples down the wire faces. Looks pretty cool and I bought some half round to go with it so I can look professional like you. lol Some of it is going to jody so she can make a bracelet for me with that and the only good blue agate that I have found. Hey, my wrap only came out good because I used the instructor's wires and tools:P. I did take Randy's advice and ordered those tools from Monsterslayer, and got some wire from there too so I can do some more at home:).
