I just found a really cool new type of tumbler. It's almost like a hybrid of a rotary tumbler and a vibratory tumbler. Covington Deluxe Tumbler Ideal for rock polishing, gold and silver castings - also has a time saver in cleaning, deburring and polishing small parts, jewelry casting ans shell casings. Has a 3-way tumbling action. First Action: The stones (or casings) tumble in the bottom corner of the barrel and criss-cross from side to side. In the Second Action, the hexagon barrel shape forces the stones to abrade and change position within the mass six times per revolution. In the Third Action, the slanted back of the barrel moves a portion of the stones gently up and down while rotating. This third action is a Covington exclusive. Measures 21" L x 9" W x 12" H. fan cooled. 1/18 HP 110 volt, 60 hz motor. Solid polyvinyl barrel. One gallon capacity, lifts from frame for easy cleaning and access, also designed with a self burping cap for the "no gas problem". has a cast aluminum chassis, Dupont nylon bearings, V-belt drive. Unit comes complete with belt guard, instructions, and guarantee. www.covington-engineering.com/deluxe_tumblers.htmNOW I NEED ONE!!! ;D
