Hello to all. My name is Tim Barney and I am in Florida. The rock poor state. I have been into tumbling for 5 or 6 years. I have 5 rock tumblers at this time 3 small ones , 1 double one and a 1 18 lb one. I am also a flintknapper. I am looking to share information, look for ideas to make my rocks shine better. I am also looking to find place to but , share and collect rocks. I am also looking to tade rocks. I have one thing that i could use help with. I have a very hard time with quartz. I have used 30 and 60 grit and it seems it takes forever to get them rounded. Well anyway i will check in tomarrow to say hi. Thanks TIm

A big welcome from South Dakota.
Don't feel bad about living in a rock poor state. South Dakota is rich in beautiful rocks, but in my little corner tumbling chips is all we have.
