Lovely idea, keeping the irregular shape on the Fordite.
Great assembly of wonderful Cabs.

All are beautiful, Tony, but that Fordite is seriously cool and a lot of fun to look at!

Thanks, ya'll I'm glad you like my holed Fordite. It just seemed like the way to cab it, lol. Jo, I'm glad I can still keep a lady intrigued, though I expect these days it's more about "what will this old fool do next", lol. T

Great looking batch Tony. I love the Mohave Turquoise as well, just so dang expensive. Did you treat the soft spots on the opal before you cabbed it?

All beautiful cabs, I love the variety. Beautiful and really cool! Pietersite is almost always my favorite but I am leaning towards that mohave turquoise this time!

Hey, Tony, sorry I missed your question. Naw, I didn't treat it. I figured to wrap it and thought I could put some wire in those spots. I usually hate to treat opal unless it is bad pits in important places. The Mohave pays for itself in pure pleasure, lol. Cuts and sands like a charm, and polishes up like a dream. It reminds me of RSJ that way. It's just so fine the money doesn't seem so important when you finish, lol. Of course, I don't have such a skinny fox to see to first, lol. T
