Hard Rock Cafe slabbed the first three for me - way too big for my tile saw: Conglomerate. Very hard stuff. African Verdite. I found the rough at Bernie's Rock Shop in Rochester, Minnesota. Prairies Agate from the Rock Shed. Rocky Butte. Got this slab at the agate show this past weekend. A slab of Leopardskin and a couple small "one cabbers" of Binghamite, also from the agate show.

Those are fantastic!!! And I'm especially grateful because you ID'd another of my mystery slabs!!!
African Verdite! YAY! I don't have the green part, just the black with yellow lace part, and it looks like NOTHING else I've ever seen before!! Very neat:).

that one Binghamite has really good chatoyance Both pieces exhibit nice chatoyance, but I don't know that you can actually capture chatoyance in a still image.

That conglomerate is stunning! And so are the others. But I'm partial to conglomerates.

That conglomerate is stunning! And so are the others. But I'm partial to conglomerates. Most of the apparent fractures are in fact healed with chalcedony. Except for the outer edges, they are solid. They are not even wet in the pictures, that's how hard they are - like porcelain.
