if i could get one cheap i would in a minute. when i first got into the hobby i could have gotten the whole setup for about 400 at a lapidary estate sale, but ignorance is bliss so I walked away from it with alot of other stuff.. smiling. later i found out what I passed up..faceter, precision flat lap, and all the discs went for 385.00.

Groan! Feel your pain and sorry for your loss but, personally, I think you should pattent your design, become a bazillionare and then buy a new one...and a whole lot of sunstone 'cause that's gorgeous! Thanks for the post!

Awesome!! Love your sunstone. How long did it take to facet it? Have you seen the Stone-Tes kit? I thought about saving up to purchase one to decide if I wanted to take the plunge.
