A used Highland Park M-3 14/16" table top saw that I picked up at a local yard sale. The person selling the saw had used it heavily for a while, and then just stopped using it. It had wiring issues on the on/off switch, and a broken spring on the feed dogs. New wiring, spring, belts, paint, and a router table, and it's ready to join the rest of the family of Higland Park saws (6", 10",14/16", AND 24"). Fresh from the yard sale A Few restored Pics Robert

Nice job of fixing up a nice saw. The later style saws that roll on square rails are the best.

When you get time can you please let me know the flange size and the depth of cut if it had a 16" blade on it? Thanks! I am asking because I built a 16" swing arm saw and it's leaving some minor saw marks and I think part of the reason might be the small arbor flanges of the Covington AR14 arbor as this saw takes advantage of the whole blade and when you have smaller flanges I seem to have a little variance running level across the center of the blade. I don't plan on changing it, it works fine it's just something im curious about. Thanks.

1/6 the blade diameter is the recommendation from MK for flange washers.

Yeah i've seen the 1/6 guidelines, which is bigger than what I have currently. When I build a larger saw ill be using the right size to avoid any of the problems, which btw I have the equipment to build that stuff, lathes, mills etc so we'll see what I can come up with.

Jean, I ran some rough through it over the weekend, so it's not all clean anymore. It had petrified rock snot on everything, which took a power washer, and alot of elbow grease to get it clean enough to paint it. Almag gets pretty nasty after it sat in a saw for that long, but it never looses that awful smell!!! Robert
