I need some advice - I want to flat face polish this for a bola tie piece and I'm not sure how to go about it. Any help would be much appreciated and THANKs in advance.......gary

I don't know how large it is but I cut and polish on my 5 inch diamond pads the same as Wampidy uses and have done 3 inch diameter

its, - it is a standerd bola size - 30 x 47 mm. My prob is my flat laps only go down to #600. I've got SiC to #600 and other polishing media and could probably go that way on a piece of glass as the varisite is pretty soft. Was looking for the knowledge of maybe some who have walked down that road also. Thanks for your input.........gary

you dont have a 4 inch vibrating sander? if not they are cheap at a pawn store or the like...

Jason - light bulb!!! ;D Now why didn't I think of that ? I'll have to see if I can adapt a rigid plate to the sander plate. Thx! Any other ideas out there?

Can you save the worn out 600 discs and use them as a pre polish? I did with my old split drums. You could use felt or leather discs for polish. Just glue on like the SC.
