I was out working. And over a week or so I came across a few of these. Most were big enuf I did now want to pack them all day. so I did not recover any of these. Can any one give me a heads up on what they are? :help:

Next time you run across one, try scratching it with a pocket knife. If it scratches easily, it's too soft for lapidary use It would sure make an interesting garden stone, whatever it is.

You need to slab this thing so we can see how it looks. It almost looks similar to the worm track agate in Globe,Az, which is actually a marble.

Well this was on private property. I would have to check ownership maps and see if I could find some public ground in that area. The Wiggins Fork pet~wood is not to far from this, as the crow flys but a long way to drive. Maybe I can get up that way and do some lookin.
