I just got home and there was a package waiting for me from unclestu! Several sweet slabs of graveyard point plume agate, awesome! Thanks to Stu, can't wait to get these cut up.

Very nice Grave Yard Plume! So many great cabbing possibilities there! You could just about lay a template anywhere on those slabs and have an awesome cab!

Absolutely beautiful pieces. Wish we had material like that here in Alberta but no such luck. Will have to buy some. Brenda

Cool, nice slabs! I have a couple like that, and I have some rough that looks higher end but not much of it. Couple pieces maybe.

Before Stu sent these, I had Graveyard with the white plumes. Haven't seen the black in many years.

Some rocks I can just stare at indefinitely as they just pull me in. That Graveyard is one of them.

I just love Grave Yard, and agree with you Pat. Still have to slab, just need the time to do it.

That is fantastic graveyard. Are the darker areas marcasite?

Man those are very nice! They look like they might be the type with some marcasite in the plumes that will give them some sparkle....Mel

Mel, You are right. They do have Marcasite and when you make a cab the plumes look as if they are highlighted with a metallic glow. In some of the pieces the agate took on a blueish tint while in others the agate looked a bit amber to yellow and then there were some that the agate looked more white. Stu
