I ordered 3 sets of these last night. They look exactly like the cab stands sold in the lapidary catalogs, but at less than half the cost.

.56 pennies each. That is a good deal. At Jim Grey's rockshop they're $1 - $2 each. Thanks for posting

Received my cab stands today. Wow, super quick shipping. These were meant for displaying coins, but are exactly identical to cab stands at half the price.

They're exactly the same as cab stands. The size is to take the plastic holders that collectable coins are stored in.

I just got mine yesterday and am very pleased... not to mention the quality, price and speed of delivery. Great find! Thank you for sharing the link.

Here are the adjustable stands I ordered. They come in 2 pieces, and just twist together. I've mounted a few of my larger Fairburns on them, and so far am happy with them. I use a small amount of mineral tack to keep odd shaped pieces from falling over. As they come, in 2 pieces. 2 pieces put together. With a nearly round rock in place. These are very stable stands, and will support large polished slabs or monster cabs.
