Man, we had some storms come through!!! A lightning bolt took out a transformer around the corner and took my power and modem with it. The tech had to go to the hub to fix the line. The problem went deep into the network. So glad it's back up. No internet sucks. No netflix, no email.... yeah.... But, I had some time to wrap without distractions. The big blue turquoise was a challenge and demanded some time. It was a custom job for a man. It's 3" long and 2 wide. The stone has no bezel. It was made with 14, 16 and 24g. The other is a rubbelite in lepidolite in silver.

Our favorite times up here are when the power goes out! That's when the lamps light up and we finally get some quiet from the chatter of the world. Both are gorgeous but that second one is really captivating!

Thank you so much everyone! I sent the pictures of the turquoise to my client and he loves it. YAY!!!
Deb, no I don't do classes. I have, however, been making tentative plans to make videos if I can ever figure out the best camera to use.
Cathy- I love storms and totally don't mind losing power. Losing the internet is different now though since I started selling. I kept wondering if someone made a purchase or asked a question. It was nerve wracking. We camp a lot so we have all we need to go without power. Don't have a generator, though, not yet.

Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing. It is scarry how dependant we have become of the internet. You have to have backup and redunancy, especially if your business depends on it.
