wow ! thats a great cut .. you won a competition !!! on one of your first cut"s that"s amazing !!!!! Don"t forget me when your famous !!!! btw I agree way too much on stone"s being judged by who cut them rather than the cut itself .. .. look at the fire !!!!! and colors and scintillation ... truley a nice stone !! what"s the cut ?? don"t tell me your making your own cuts already ? ?lol

Nah, not designing...yet!
USFG competitions are such that they tell you what to cut so it levels the playing field. The Australian international competition is more of a free for all....they might tell you what material or what size but you have to pick the design....harder to compare apples and oranges I would think! Sue

I've thought about getting into faceting but I'm already overrun with rock-related equipment and hobbies.
This is very cool and from what little I know this looks like really nice work.
