Darstcreek and I swap out slabs quite often being married to sisters. I got these Braziliain slices from him awhile back and polished some with some other slabs I had cut. Really nice patterns and colors in them. They came out smooth as glass as you can see. Attachments:

Very nice! I'm only begining to flat lap and can only aspire to a finish like that

Actually I do them in my vibe. I throw in a bunch of slabs and a handfull of small round river rock and whatever end cuts and fractured slab chunks I collect.

J, I might have to try that myself. I am familiar with that process. I use aquarium gravel when I do my slabetts. Never thought of doing bigger pieces. Thanks!
