I don't recall throwing any tantrums. They seem to be too heavy for me to pick up. I have always tried to envision how one would grip themselves in order to throw themselves off a cliff?  One hand gripping the seat of your pants and the other on the back of your collar. Would you lift yourself off the ground and swing yourself back then forward and let go? Not been cabbing as much as I used to especially this summer. My wife is busy dragging me and her GTO to car shows all about the area. Went to the Goodguys show on Saturday. Very large show with over 3500 cars. I've been tied up with club activities with the Mother Lode Mineral Society (I'm the president) and teaching jewelrymaking at the Stockton club's clubhouse. I did start working on a large (4" tall) Piranha Agate. I should have it done in a day or two and I will post a photo. Bob |

Yeah Ed, you are! I'm still here. Haven't been on in a while. I have a lot going on that has brought the tumblers to a halt, but pretty soon I will be able to be more active. I still got a head full of rocks. Until then I lurk.

Good to hear from all of you! Jasper is almost 5 years old! Spoiled rotten and loved! And just for you newbies, Jasper was named on this board almost 5 years ago! We had a contest and I forgot who won but Jasper was the winning name. He is now called.................Jasper Agate Wheeler. Jasper now weighs 7 lbs.  |

I check in when I can, but teaching has taken a big chunk out of my time. Miss you guys. I've gotta get my tumblers started up again! Going to an auction tomorrow of the contents of the Crystal Castle shop in Houston. at Websters Auction.

I always thought of myself as a newbie....been preoccupied with faceting (don't wear any faceted stones tho...prefer my jewelry to reflect rocks closer to their natural state)....just love the monotony of act of faceting and the OCD traits needed for competition faceting.

I'm back/ still here since 2008. Computer problems, work problems, busy doing nothing  , distracted, Face Booking (same as distracted). Will be around often now again. |

Woody is still around as well, even if I do not post, I am usually lurking. I once shot myself with a two inch staple gun.........finger was in a gap between tow pieces of a chair frame. As I recall, that hurt..twice. Once when shot, the second when extracting the staple.
