I haven't been able to wrap as much as I like lately. Just so much going on and the kids getting antsy about back to school. Managed to get one done and I'm feeling like that's all I'll be doing for awhile- one at a time. This yellow quartz is one of my early cabs. It's funny, now that my eye is a little more fine tuned for cabbing, I could pick out flaws I didn't see before. But, it is still good enough to use- so I did. Attachments:

That's a pretty one, really like how it looks like 2 arms tugging the wire up at the corners and holding on!! ;D

Really nice wrap, Tela, and it looks beautiful with that stone! I actually go back and rework rocks that do that to me. One of the things that I've found is that as I move forward with all of this, my skills grow and problems I couldn't fix two months ago are easy fixes now. I've actually got several little drawers with stones that are waiting for me to get to the point where I can fix them and some I now can. :-)

Thanks y'all Cathy, this stone is real soft and didn't take too well to a polish. I noticed in one extreme corner that I could have got a better polish. I decided to leave it since you can't really see it now. But, I do have some others that I am waiting to get around to doing some touch up. Every time Gene and I play, I work one or two of the trouble makers with the new ones.

Beautiful pendant. Sure glad that the rest of us do not have to go back and fix things. lol My theory is "cover it up first, if that doesn't work, get better at covering it up, if that does not work, throw it in the tumbler bin". Jim
