Looks like giant datolites, but they're only found in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula.

It's Howlite, and Billg22 is awesome because I couldn't go and asked if he could get me some. Hugs!

Just how lite is it? I prefer heavy rocks. Sorry, just could not pass that up. So, is there going to be a race to see who can show us the inside first? Jim

Does it have to be the inside of those particular chunks? :-) Quick, somebody go to the grocery store and slab up a cauliflower.

cool, never seen whole howlite chunks, only stuff crushed ready to tumble.
