I spent a few hours walking to and from McKay Head near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. It was a pretty dry day in terms of finds. Too many tourists and too few storms this time of year. That will all change in November. Broken face of a 4 pounder. Red and gold jasper in blue quartz. There is some black dirt lenses in the face that hopefully won’t carry through the rock. 3 pound red and gold jasper in blue/white quartz. Small red and gold jasper in blue/white quartz. Blue chalcedony nodules beneath the crust. Darryl.

Man, you guys have some unusual jasper types up your way. The red on black is very interesting....Mel
