I'm looking for a place that won't charge me my first born to ship grit to ontario. Any suggestions? I tried using the vendors thread but most of the places that I tried were either unresponsive or wanted astronomical amounts of money to ship it to me. I realize that it's heavy but I'll cry if I can't get more grit I just started having fun with my rock tumbler

thanks I tried robert hall already, got no response so far (it's been a week since I emailed and called). I sent a message to mountain gems and we'll see what happens!

Try calling Rock Shed or Kingsley North and ask if they will ship Flat Rate. It is still high but better than UPS and no brokerage fees.

I can't believe there isn't a crossover somewhere from the sandblasting industry; I bet you can 50lb bags somewhere there.

Our club gets it from a local abrasives warehouse by the 50 lb bag and sometimes by the drum.

thanks everyone! Grit is on it's way and I can't wait to get my tumbler going again! Ended up buying from Robert Hall, they got back to me finally and their shipping was much more reasonable (being in ontario with me probably helped!)
