This stuff looks to be full of hairline fractures and could crumble in a tumbler. Has anyone ever tried stabilizing this stuff before? I just bought a small piece of rough because I liked the looks of it. Attachments:

Yeah, only the hard green parts will do halfway well in the tumbler. The softer red areas will not hold together and will undercut. I just cut a cab from that material a week or so ago and posted the results in the cab section. It's easiest to handle it just like poppy jasper and break it along the fractures. Then you just spend your time on the good parts. The harder green spider web sections take a very good polish on the wheels and pads but the red zones if wide, do not have enough silica and are too porous to bother with.....Mel
