My imperial jasper arrived today, and it is more beautiful than the pictures that Tandl posted in his auction. The darker areas have a beautiful depth that didn't show so much in his photos--I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like cabbed.

But--in addition, Tandl included two geode pieces. Not only did he pick great ones, he also remembered that I had commented on one (or a similar one) when he posted it some time back and sent that along.

Thanks, Ted--you've got it all! Great stuff, generous spirit -AND- good memory!
