I'm sending John some stuff I've collected recently, and he sent me a box too! I opened it up and it was full of Mississippi and Louisiana Agates, Petrified Wood and Jaspers. There were also a bunch of neatly packed altoid cans labeled for the kids and for me and my wife. There was another whole box of quartz points too! some really big ones to boot! The haul: Some polished agates: some larger quartz pieces: a bunch of smaller points: some of the points and one of the river-polished agates my son already picked out: The neatly packed tins: And I was able to get my 2 boys to hold still long enough for a photo with their new guitar-pick-style agate necklaces! Nancy loved the wrapped jasper - she's already asking why I don't make mine like that Here also are 2 of the picks - John can I use those or are they just for show? Thanks a ton John, yours is on the way!

Cool stuff! I was going to ask if those are crowley agates. I'm starting to develop a fondness for those.

Wow whatta haul!! John sure finds some great agates over there. Are the quartz crystals from LA? Maybe Arkansas? Your boys sure look proud of their guitar picks, and rightfully so ;D Beautiful wrap for Nancy too, it's great to see the generosity of RTH still lives on!!!

I am glad everyone liked the goodies..The quartz is from the Coleman mineAnd Fisher Mountain in Arkansas...The agates were collected in Mississippi and Louisiana...They are from the same alluvial formation as the Crowley Ridge..Transported millions of years ago to where I am...John
