Hi everyone sorry it took days to report on my trip, but I had to recoup and my camera quit working. I had a great time with family and friends (rockhounders included). I met up with PaulShiroma and JohnGems at the dump by Yermo and they helped me find lots of agate. they are both such awesome guys. John had brought me two pieces of Calico silver lace onyx. Sorry John lost one the box it was in was really damaged when I got it and I can't seem to find it, one whole side of the box was torn, glad I put some in different boxes. Then Paul and my sister and I went to Calico and had lunch. we had a wonderful time. thanks goes to both of you for coming along. now I have some pictures but there is alot I think I will post them in more than one post. Us Rockhounders silver lace I found John thought this might be silver lace too the one John gave me the other is missing the whole lot wet a big agate Paul found not sure what this one is but it's cool a small stone I found by rainbow basin pieces I cut on sunday me rock hunting "Yippi" Calico hope you all enjoy i know I did thank you for looking

The not sure looks like palm. Need to cut it to see for sure. Could be some of the bog material too.

Hey Tammy, I missed this thread completely! That was a great hunting trip; I'm so glad we could all meet up. Looking forward to the next trip out with you all. Funny, it didn't look like that many rocks ... always seems to be "just one more" ! HA!

I'm thinking palm too John. Probably roots instead of fiber.
Glad you had a nice trip Tammy. Now you have a few pieces of my old stomping grounds back in N.D. You ever get over to eastern S.D., give me a shout. You can hound in my rock shed. Still lots of S. Cal stuff in there too.

jakesrocks Cali is my old stomping grounds too I was raised there a baby until I got married and left in 85 I still visit from time to time and still have family there. when I was younger I used to pick rocks up all the time but never really enjoy them like I do now. And definetly if I come your way I would love to stop by and meet you and yours in person, maybe even alittle hounding too.
