I recently finished a couple of spheres made from Paulina agate. This first one is 2.7 inches in diameter -- 2 views. The next one is 3.125 inches in diameter -- 2 views.

Very nice pieces! They really look like little balls of stardust! Nice work on all of them!

Shotgunner, I may be wrong and if so I invite corrections --- my understanding is that Paulina agate is Polka Dot agate without the polka dots. It comes from the same formation as polka dot, but is further out along the seam. I got the rough at Richardson's Ranch. They have a huge pile of it. In the rough it looks just like some of the not quite best grade grade polka dot.
