So how do you get started making cabs without paying $1200 for the grinding wheels and machinery?

So how do you get started making cabs without paying $1200 for the grinding wheels and machinery? you should ask this question in the general board. it is a good question, and there are options that start fairly cheap. but it is a topic in itself, and we don't want to hi-jack this thread.

Number 6 slab tonight. The way I positioned the rock ended up slightly taller than the blade. Ran it until the blade cut as much as it could Backed it off and gave it a couple love taps Voila! This might not rate as a 'best practice', but it's working so far. I'm going to change the position of the rock now that I have a good flat face for one side, basically trying to get maximum yield from the agate vein. Having fun with this one ;D

That is really amazing material! There is so much going on in it! Even the matrix, jasper looking area looks like it will be good to cab! Fran
