Don't know. Cool stuff I got a few chunks of from Jamie. Coral I got off ebay. Indonesian, I think? An agate and a Koroit. Little chips. Quartz mix found in Tenn. by a friend. I keep thinking candy korn Koroit opal Pinolith. This stuff is cooler the more I work it. Expensive, though I got a deal on this one because no one wanted it. Don't know. Don't know. I keep thinking turq. mix, but don't think so. It bleeds dark gray like Apache gold Thanks, Tony

Hi Tony,
Nice pieces! That pinolith does look cool! Very subtle. I really like those koroits too!

Nice set Tony, that coral really stands out! I wonder if that's heat treated to give it the nice reds?

Thanks, ya'll! I like that coral too! Beef, it may be, or it may be the pic I took, and how the thing got translated. I'm colorblind, so sometimes when I set the camera up, I don't have a clue what I'm getting, lol. If I like it I go with it, though a normal sighted person might tell me the camera is lying, because the operator is a defective, lol, who sets the gamma too low, and has everything very dark so it kicks the color It looks like that in real life, I think, but I didn't have anybody double check, lol. It was hard, and didn't bleed, but I guess that is no guarantee it couldn't take dye. T

Great batch Tony! Your candy corn is perfect for the season and I think that may be turq on the bottom. I have had some bleed gray depending on the metal content in it. Fran

Neat cabs! My favorite is the coral too. When they heat treat that stuff, it really brings out the color. Think your pinolith might be misidentified though. Looks more like some sort of coral or bryozoan to me. I have some very similar stuff somewhere.....Mel
