It is material that Larry, Diane, Susan, Goober and I collected last weekend out near Last Chance Canyon in the Mojave desert.

One of the great things about the material out in that whole area is its high silica content. Makes it easy to get a water shine on just about anything you cut from those hills.

Cool! It has to be so satisfying to find your own rocks to finish. Maybe one day I will know that pleasure, until then I live vicariously through y'all rockhounds. ;D
