Christopher, is that stone directional...like obsidian or labradorite? It almost seems to me that it would have to be. Your pieces really make me want to try some of it out!

The rough this fire agate cab was cut from is out of Calvillo, Aguascalientes, Mexico, as is all the fire agate I have in stock.
A lot of fire agates are somewhat directional. This one will show different colors at different angles. Makes it hard to get a photo. I must warn you Cathy....once you start cutting fire agate it is very hard to stop. They are VERY ADDICTING to say the least!!!

Fine cab, that. Mesmerizing. I have an unrational fear that when I finally get to see lava flowing, I'll be wanting to reach out and touch it, lol. I'm always touching my fire agates expecting to feel the heat. T
