So. The wife doesn't like when I spend hours on end out in the shop so I did my 60 grit grind on a few more Botswanas, then packed up the flat lap and discs and moved up to the living room. After a few minutes Audrey came over to see what I was doing. She figured she could get a better idea a little closer, and promptly took over speed control. With out being told or guided, she reached up, grabbed a rock and started to grind it! She did really good. Very light pressure, always moving around the disc. So I took the good rock away and traded her one from my vast collection of tumbled misc. Bonus video!

I was on the 3000 disc. Pretty harmless. I swatted her away when she did it the first time, but then thought "what the hell." She did awesome except for trying to grab the nut lol!

I should get video of my granddaughters. 21/2 41/2. There the same way and have polished cabs on my leather wheel. Way better than stupid video games. Later Clyde

Too cute! Tell her I'll give her an extra 5% off her own machine.

Thanks everyone! She did better than me at keeping all her nails. Must be the tiny fingers. John, if she keeps at it I may just have to take you up on the offer!

You werent kidding ;D I just melted seeing those pictures. That is so sweet and adorable. She looks so curious. Nice to see you are starting her early. I expect that we will see her cabs in the cabbing section shortly.
We have a 10 week old and have been trying to figure out how I am going to keep cabbing. I have been figuring how to do it in the house, looks like I have the answer! Thanks for sharing. Steve

She is a Doll Geoff. Enjoy them while you can. I tried my hardest to get my girls involved with my lapidary side of the hobby....but to no avail. They enjoyed exploring and hiking when they were younger, and then when they got older it was always too hot, or too boring, or just had other plans. They grow up before you know it. I Love Little Kids...and loved those shots. steve
