Same price I paid for the last 10" saw I bought at an auction, the trend is going towards higher saw prices. Not sure if interest in the hobby has picked up or if lots of people watched cash and treasures and think they can cash in on the hobby but I have seen saw prices headed up over the past year.

Star diamond was a good saw. The problem with these saws is the stainless steel rail and brass guides that the vice rides on. Once they wear out, you'll need to have a machinist make new parts for you.

I does have a really good blade on it. Price is not unreasonable, but on the high end.
