How big a jump in grit/mesh size are we taking when we move from say 1000 grit to a cerium or a titanium oxide.
Some time ago I thought someone had posted a link or a chart that compared all that stuff. Anyone remember?

my antivirus does not like that site!
I think AO is about 0.5 micron, or about 50K grit. CO the same.
That is the Linde B A0, the Linde A grade may be 1/4 micron or about 100K

How big a jump depends on how long you run the 1000. Even 600 SC if run for a week would be much finer than 600.
