A few months ago I purchased a rock pile from an old time miner. I have the bulk of the pile moved but it sat there so long alot of it sunk into the ground so when I get some time I go over there and dig around looking for cool buried treasure. I dug for about 6 hours yesterday and this is my treasure About 2/3 of a bucket of Bruneau nodules Some Varisicite Graveyard Point in the crate, Morrisonite in the coffee can Cherry Creek, NV petrified wood Lots more petrified wood, most of it is from the Elko, NV area. This one kind of jumped out at me so I have it in the saw right now. Nice opalized wood, not sure of the locality. Took me all morning to wash the mud off of most of it, gonna go unload it now. Have a great day......................Tony

That wood looks awesome! Nothing like having a little hidey hole full of treasure.

Cool bunch of rocks. That cherry creek wood looks wild! I like seeing your trailer loaded up with rocks. Hope you find some more good stuff. The best part of any rock pile is usually the bottom. Steve

I was missing your epic captures lately. Glad to see another one. A lot of beauty shown and probably even more still hidden.
