Thanks, Friends!! Hey, Jo, where you travelin'? Cobra jasper, Indian script stone, elephant skin jasper, coquina jasper...it wouldn't surprise me to see it called other things. It has great patterns. Just wish it came in multi colors Cobra opal would blow my mind, lol. Tony

Yeah, I have bought it as Indian Script Stone. I see on the web the term "elephant jasper" and "cobra jasper" but don;t often see it sold under these names. It used to be mostly Indian Script Stone, but in the last year or so lots of vendors have been offering Coquina Jasper. Must have been a big shipment imported.
When the background is darker it undercuts less. Also, I like when the shells are thinner, because it is more scripty.
I agree it is a fun stone. (Makes a super mess in the saw thought.)

Great batch Tony. The first opal is my favorite. I've always heard your cobra called script stone, never seen that name for that.
