Here is some blue willow I picked up after seeing one of Tony's cabs. I got it at greatslabs.com. They call it blue willow, but I think it is sodalite, heavier on the lite than the soda. Either way, I really like it. A 40x30 And a 30x22 Dino bone from the dollar bin A 30x22 crazy lace Shrinkwood Pet wood from George West/Three Rivers, Tx area Another dino bone from the you-know-where A couple fossil agate from Zapata. This stuff is tough, as the shells are a little softer so getting a complete shine is difficult. It also didn't give me the contrast I was hoping for. Can't remember where this came from, but I really like it. Something I picked up from a local show a couple years ago. Very veiny. A 30x22 cherry creek. I love this stuff. This is my most intriguing material. Brecciated obsidian. This was my second attempt. The first came out beautiful, but broke as I was taking it off the dop. Very frustrating. But I've got more to play with. Hope you like them. matt

Wow, Matt, those all came out great! (How are your fingers?) If I had to pick favorites, I'd do the fossil agates and the orange one. Is that a moss? Anyway, great show to start the day! Thanks for the share!

Jeez, I didn't realize how bad some of those photos were. I either need to hold my iPhone a little steadier or go get a new eyeglass prescription. Hell, I need to do both.
John, I only ordered from greatslabs.com once. I definitely am pleased with what I got and would recommend them.
Thank you for the kind remarks. I take my inspiration from all of you.

Awesome cabs! I've heard the first one called both blue willow and speckled sodalite.
