Heck guys that picture could have been taken in Death Valley There are area on earth devoid of vegetation
Kind of like the Twilight Zone episode where the space ship crashes into desolate area of some godforsaken plant. The survivors wander off into this alien landscap hopelessly lost. Until they get nutty in the head and kill one another. Then the survivor notices a telephone pole at the top of hill and sign that says:
Eat at Joes!

Man, wouldn't it be just outrageously cool to slab some rocks from Mars? Not sure if there was water and a magnetic field long enough for agates but you'd think there'd be some jaspers somewhere... Rick
