Thought I'd post up some of the carving I've done in the past few months. Couple large jade beads Wyoming jade BC Jade Tiger Iron swirl polished faced grade smokey quartz crystal Open Wave Pendent, It's a close copy from one sold by Tiffany Wyoming Jade Trinity Thanks for looking! Tim

Thanks! The jade carvings take the most time. From design to final polish the open wave took close to 6 hr's. The tiger iron was less than 1 hr.

Sweet work, Tim! Love 'em all, but the tiger iron "swirl" is my fave. :drool: The quartz crystal's a favorite, too. Did you lap that freehand?

Yes, the crystal was lapped freehand. I just used the original sides so it kept the same form then cleaned up the point as it had a big fracture that I ground out.
