Hi, slab-a-holics! It's been a busy week, and we've slabbed and shipped over 50 ponds of lovely Davis Creek O'Sidian. Here are photos of just a few slabs, currently winging their way toward Germany. Enjoy! Hope you like the eye candy, my friends! Be well! Kris

Always sweet! That last one looks like it's got a time rift in it.

Dave, that "time rift" shows in so many different ways; at noon, it shows a blue green rolling slash, in the late afternoon it became a swirling black hole ... So cool! Susan, that's some sweet cross flow Aurora Borealis. As. It moves, the top and bottom swirl in different directions, and the side moves up and down. That one blew my mind! BTW, Look for some lemon yellow in the box that I just mailed you. Kris

Brent, we will be doing field trips in January, but not to Davis Creek. Our Davis Creek opener will be the first weekend of June. The snow is almost always clear by that date, at the 6000 foot level where we mine obsidian. See our field trip website at www.rockhound-field-trips.ning.com for details. Kris
