Hub, we were in SD in august. On the way to Mt Rushmore we stopped in a town called Keystone. The shop I got the sodalite from is in a stripmall on the edge of downtown. Outside the fellows shop were bins of rocks. Somw of those bins were built on pallets and were about three feet deep. One of those bins was heaped full of sodalite like the cabs I posted. The chunks were about two or three softballs in size. Another bin was filled with rose quartz chunks a bit smaller. Anyway when I bought the fist size piece of sodalite that I brought home I asked the gentleman if he mined all the stone himself. He said not all , just the rose quartz and that it was local .He said the rest he got shipped in. He did not say where the rest was shipped from. All I know is I want more of the sodalite he had but I wont be headinf to SD for a long time and I never got the fellows name or his number to find out if he he could ship me some more. If anyone here knows how I can contact this fellow I would be gratefull...................
