Also called Tampa Bay Agate.Is glass like and very hard.Chips with a high pitched ring with very little effort but dangerous shrapnel.Western agates are well rounded before this stuff rounds.Polishes to very shiny.These are not heat treated. Attachments:

Yes Mario It can be collected in the Suwanee River around White Springs Florida.The Withlacochee River at the Ga/Fl line is paved with this stuff.The whiskey colored stain around the perimeter is where th 'black water' stains it.Must collect at low water.Some pieces are big 3-4 feet across.
