Hi, geoenthusiasts! For the Holiday season, we're offering Panoche Hills gem rock assortments, with material taken from our "private reserve" piles. These include jasp-agate, plasma agate, jade, chert and many, many other materials! And yes, our Blue G and chocolate magnesite may be included!   These are from our diggings at Area 54 and the Big Pile, out in the Panoche Hills of western Fresno County, California. Decidedly different, many feature strange mixtures of rock, and are found only in this mountain range. This is a level of material we usually take to shows or save for our own selfish pleasure! Each USPS medium flat rate box contains 20 pounds of colorful cuttables, ready to slab & cab. The price on each box is $30, with free shipping included. This level of Panoche Hills material routinely sells at Shows and on eBay for between $3 - $6 per pound. Box #1 Box #2 Box #3 Box #4 Box #5 Panoche Hills #20 MFRB boxes of tumbling/cabbing size material, hand select pebbles and cobbles will also be on sale for $30 with free shipping, through December 20th. That's a $15 savings over our usual price! For a closer look at these materials, visit the Panoche Hills and Gem Boulder pages at our website, www.hand2mouthmining.netIf you want a particular material or color, (or want to order more!) just PM me and we'll put together a box for you. Be sure to tell us what size saw you have, and we'll tailor the material to your saw. if you have a question, and to order, please send me a PM. For your convenience, all invoicing will be done through PayPal. Thanks for shopping, friends! Kris PS: Your patronage is greatly appreciated, we need it to get to Quartzsite this year!

Thanks for starting us off, Mario! And you're right Lloyd! Me n' Al decided that our "private stock" pile needed to be cut, and we only have so much time .. And we keep bringing home more great rock! We'll post photos of yesterday's rainy day trip tomorrow. We brought home some killer boulders. Kris

Mario, that's a style that we call "Stormy Shores." It occurs in chert, jasp-agate and even jadeite. I believe that this particular piece is a jasp-agate, but I always urge patrons to do a simple specific gravity test on any suspect stones. We have tons (really!) of this lovely stone, and will happily make up FRB boxes. Thanks again! Kris

In the 1st box, 3rd picture, the light rock on the far left, could you tell me what it is?
I like all the boxes and am looking for some rough that is different to the agates and jaspers I have on hand. Since Mario is obviously interested in Box #1, I'd be happy to bid $30 on any of the other boxes that no one else bids on, if that makes any sense. In other words, I have plenty here to keep me busy and don't want to preclude anyone from getting what they really want, but I do like what you're offering and would be happy to have a box. I have a 16" HP saw.

Thanks, Sheltie! That lovely rock is a floating jasper. It's one of the more unusual gem rocks that we find in the Panoche Hills. I'll put together a box of that cool rock for you today, in different colors. It's the perfect weather to pressure wash! } Thanks! Kris
