I agree with you Bill. I had similar thoughts when I was cutting this material.
This stuff is HARD! Takes a shine real easy. The Next one I cut I will make it much thinner. This one is really thick, over 8mm. I was very impatient to see how this material cut. I suspect that if I cut it thinner I will get much better results.

I bought some Purple Cow at Quartszite last year but it doesn't look like that! Would you post a picture of the slab before you preform it. I will do the same and we can compare to see if it is the same stuff or from the same area. Beautiful cabs!!
