Thanks to all for the ideas. I've been brainstorming myself (although it's more like a brain trickle..lol). I thought about going with another language besides English but don't know if that would offend people from those countries especially if I play around with the spelling a bit. I speak some French and German plus learned a few words of Italian. My favorite country is Greece and Artemis is a Greek Goddess but I'm not totally sold on that. I played around with it a bit and came up with a few, any opinions or other ideas are most welcome.

what a great thread. I have little to add.
What was your GUT INSTINCT on this one? The first tiny little "aha, I like that one".
A little history. In 1997 I had a business partner. He and I were planning to open a retail store (name seems very important in retail) and the very first intensive day of planning we said "What do we call it?". I spouted a name and wrote it down on the first page of the notebook. My partner wasn't thrilled, so I kept adding names, some with themes others with gimmicks. After 18 months of precision planning (and name adding) we were sitting in the lawyer's office doing the incorporation papers. The lawyer said "What is your company name"? We looked at each other with a blank stare. I pulled out the notebook and we went over the name(s). Of course, we went with that dusty old name, the very first thought put to paper. Today (15 years later) he still uses the name!
So, what was your first "aha, I like that one"?

Shotgunner, all my gut has said so far is that I'm hungry...lol. Sorry, couldn't resist. I really haven't had any "aha" moments. I did have a friend mention "Beads, Gemstones, & Beyond" which sparked my interest after I posted the last list of names on here. I don't know about using so many words but it seems to cover a lot of ground which is what I need. I changed my booth name on Bonanza to "Rockhound Jewelry and Bead Designs" but wanted to have a different name to sell on another site, perhaps handmadeartists.com Did a google search and that name doesn't come up in that order but does in "Beyond Beads and Gemstones". Is there somewhere else I need to check for the name being taken? I am also thinking of the tag line. Maybe ..."jewelry and creations that stand the test of time" any ideas or other suggestions? Thanks again all of you for the help.

Thanks Victor and Mario. Leave it to the Italian to come up with all the Italian names...lol. I'll bet you make a mean marinara sauce too. I don't think I'll use a different language for my name. I was told after I talked about it that since I'm selling in the US mostly it would be hard for Americans to remember the name or even understand it. At least now if I meet an Italian rock hound I'll be able to tell him/her what I do and what I like, thanks to you.
