A few cabs I did today. Feather Agate Biggs Jasper from Roy Deschuets Plume Agate from Tony (Catmandew) ....first rock on the saw and first cab from my own slabs Cool rock. It's got some silvery lines in it that sparkle different colors whent the light hits it. And the stone I was working when the power went out. Finally got to finish it today. Polish Flint... Big fun!!! Cathy

I really like that feather agate, Cath! A light stone for a heavy storm and working flint during a hurricane wasn't knapping ! wide awake and full of shine Ed

Thanks all! Roy, the third one I bought as Deschutes but on ebay that is reeeeaally relative. LOL! It is a nice slab but a tad thin. Working up well though. As you're out there, I have to ask this. What is the difference between Biggs and Deschutes? I was under the impression that Deschutes was actually a subtype of Biggs. I'll have another from the same slab up tonight if the camera still works and power stays on. lol! Doing these is really teaching me the difference between jasper and agate!!!

Wow, the Deschutes or Blue Biggs is awesome!!!! Is your silvery lined cab a piece of Graveyard with Marcasite in it? Marcasite looks gold to me but in some lights it looks silver too...?

Thanks all and Krystee, I'm don't think so but am no expert. Looking at it straight on, it looks like rainbow colored crystals but at any angle they look silver. Very cool stone, though.
