Very nice box of rox! See some nice picture jaspers, too. Maybe those are serpentine (type?)? What is on the lid of the box? Ruby in zoisite and petrified limb?

yep on the box lid is a nice chunk of Ruby in zoisite and a petrified limb cast. I asked the sender about the green rocks and he thought serpentine too but also was not sure about what type.
My kids really liked the fluorite with all the colors in it.
If it is serpentine any good advice on tumbling or should I try to get a few small slabs for cabbing?
thanks, Chuck

Maybe cab a few of them and tumble those that you don't cab. Sorry, Chuck, but don't have a tumbler or any advice on tumbling the serpentine, but sure hope someone can give you some tips.

Serpentine tumbles fine, but quick. Don't leave it in as long as you would quartz or esp agate because it will grind right away. Most of the serpentine I have pulled out of the tumbler has not taken a shine but more of a matte finish.
