River Adventure

Hi Folks! Took off early yesterday morning to do some hounding on the Verde near Fossil Creek. Here's a few pics from the trip.


Outside of Camp Verde and just a few miles down the 21 mile bumpy washed out dirt road

I hiked up the river a bit and crossed to check out some gravel beds on the other side. Picked a bad place to cross as it was very swift, nearly waist deep and cold!! It was just above this area





Found a few keepers, recrossed and headed back to where I parked. Had some lunch and crossed again to explore some rock down river. Before I knew it the sun was starting to sink and it was time to go.

Got back pretty late a little wore out but couldn't have had a better day
