Does the deer have a big hole on his backend? My dad killed a buck last year and it had half an arrow embedded in its neck. The arrow was under the skin and you could see it under the skin. It was crazy looking. Also seen a deer with 3 legs. It looked like it got its leg shot off and it actually healed up.

Deer often get monster warts too. We have a deer or two here that have warts almost two inches in diameter by maybe one inch high on their sides. Gross looking but not real harmful to the deer I guess.....Mel

Might be a Queen Anne's Lace like in the foreground. He doesn't have any problem moving...

I could show some bumps but luckily they are where I still have hair and I am not talking about the hair on my ears and eyebrows. My junk is on the inside. I had steroid injections in my back yesterday. The rifle shot did not work so they went with the shot gun is how it was explained to me. The precision injection did not work so he filled the whole cord cavity with the stuff. 80% chance that it will work for a year. The percentage goes up with a second injection. I think I just felt the house shake. I wonder if Yellowstone blew. Better cut this short because if it did I will be toast in a few seconds. Nothing yet? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? waiting. Looks like we are ok if you get this post it did not happen. I am about 75 miles from the park so if it blows I probably have about 3 or 4 seconds to hit the road. Must have been train cars hitting hard in the rail yard but I did not hear anything. Maybe the park was just rumbling a little getting ready to blow. Those of you that live far from the park, if it blows run outside and grow a garden real fast, like a week or so because things will get real ugly. Where I am located I will have time to say oh sh................ flat line better to die instantly than die from hunger. Damn, I wonder where all the gruesome came from. I hope I did not scare the sh out of anyone. It blows every 60,000 or 600,000 years and we are something like 10 years to that point which ever it is. Ok, I AM KIDDING. we have like a thousand years to go and the human race probably will have already died off almost to extinction by then because nobody now is willing to do the research to figure out how to make big trucks and humongous ships move with out oil and gas. Maybe they will be able to burn dried people Well I have been up all night because I picked up a book that I could not put down so I read the whole thing. The title was "Dick and Jane get a dog". Boy that thing must have been ten pages long. Lovely pictures though. I am going to see if my fingers will quit rambling now. oh sh

I once shot a deer that had a goiter under it's chin the size of a cantaloupe. I called FWP, and they told me to dispose of it and they would give me another deer tag. I buried it under one of my flower beds, someday in the future it will cause someone digging there to scratch their head when they discover a whole deer skeleton.
Jim, I think I felt a tremor too. Seemed to be coming from the east though, perhaps there will be a landslide today.

Damn, you don't live under a cliff do you? That would not be for me. A 100# to 10,000# rock landing on my legs only would suck. If it landed on my head I would not know it anyway. Fast has to be much better than painful. Jim

Jim: “I had steroid injections in my back yesterday.”
Yikes! I guess it’s safe to assume your steroids weren’t made by New England Compounding in Mass.
Idaho looks like the only western state involved, with just one case.

I double checked and the VA did not buy any steroids from that company. That was the first thing and the second thing that I asked when they called to ask me if I wanted the injections. I wanted to drink a couple of bottles of the stuff to see if it would reverse aging. I was told that it would not and that I could not play the piano after the procedure if I could not play it before. I try to ask all the important questions to make sure the doc is on his toes and not half asleep. Jim
